For visitors
Is BeautyTreatments free for me?
Yes. Reading guides, searching the directory and requesting an appointment are free for visitors, always. Clinics pay a subscription for a claimed profile.
How do I request an appointment?
Search for a treatment and your city or ZIP on find a clinic near you, choose a clinic and select Request an appointment. Enter your email and preferred dates, then confirm with the six-digit code we email you. See how to book a med spa treatment.
Is my appointment booked once I send a request?
Not yet. Your request goes to the clinic, and the clinic confirms a time with you. We email you the next steps once the clinic responds.
What happens if the clinic has not claimed its profile?
Your request is saved, and we email you when this clinic confirms availability on BeautyTreatments. You can also send requests to other clinics nearby in the meantime.
Should I share health details in my request?
No. Please do not share medical information in the note. A licensed provider talks about your health with you directly, in person or through the clinic's own channels.
Who performs medical treatments like Botox, fillers and lasers?
Medical treatments are performed by licensed medical professionals. Who may perform a given treatment depends on your state's rules. Ask the clinic who will treat you and what their license is.
Do you give medical advice?
No. Our cosmetic treatments guides explain what a treatment is, how a session usually goes and what recovery commonly looks like. Whether a treatment is right for you is a decision for a licensed provider. Read the medical disclaimer.
How much does a treatment cost?
Price varies by clinic, ask for a quote. It depends on the area treated, the product, the number of sessions, the provider's training, the city and any maintenance visits. Our cost guides, such as botox cost and laser hair removal cost, explain these factors.
Are the prices on clinic profiles real?
We never invent prices. A clinic's own prices appear only after the clinic claims its profile and enters them.
Do you show reviews or ratings?
No. We do not collect or copy reviews, ratings or before and after photos. Profiles show business details from open data, or the details a clinic enters after claiming.
Where do the listings come from?
From open data: OpenStreetMap under the Open Database License, and the public NPI Registry for medical practices. We never copy listings from map apps or review sites. Read where our directory data comes from.
Why can't I find a clinic I know?
Open data does not include every business, and some businesses are tagged without the treatments they offer. Try a wider radius or a related treatment. A clinic that is not listed can add itself when it claims its clinic profile.
