How to book a med spa treatment

BeautyTreatments brings two things together: plain-English guides to beauty and aesthetic treatments, and a directory of med spas, skin clinics, estheticians and studios across the US. Here is how it works for visitors and for clinics.

For visitors

  1. 01 Read the guide

    Start with a treatment guide such as Botox, lip filler or microneedling. Each one explains what the treatment is, how a session usually goes, what recovery commonly looks like and what drives the price. Browse all cosmetic treatments.

  2. 02 Find a clinic near you

    Choose a treatment, enter your city or ZIP and pick a radius of 5, 10 or 25 miles. Results show distance, the treatments each business lists and whether its profile is claimed. Start on find a clinic near you or browse med spa near me by state.

  3. 03 Request an appointment

    Select Request an appointment on a result. Enter your email and preferred dates, and add a note if you like. Please do not share medical information. Confirm with the six-digit code we email you.

  4. 04 Hear back from the clinic

    We email you the next steps once the clinic responds. If the clinic has not claimed its profile, we email you when it confirms availability on BeautyTreatments.

Before you book a medical treatment

Botox, fillers, lasers and other medical treatments are performed by licensed medical professionals. Who may perform them depends on your state's rules. At your consultation, ask who will treat you, what their training is and what the plan for your visit looks like.

General information, not medical advice. A licensed provider decides whether a treatment is right for you.

  • Ask for a quote, since price varies by clinic.
  • Ask how many sessions people usually need and whether maintenance visits are part of the plan.
  • Tell the provider about medications and health conditions in person, not in the request form.

For clinics

  1. 01 Claim your profile

    Find your business in the directory and confirm ownership with a code sent to an email on your website's domain, or a code placed on your website. Not listed? Add your business. Start on claim your clinic profile.

  2. 02 Set up your details

    Add hours, your website, a treatment menu and up to 6 photos of your own. On the Clinic plan and above, set "from" prices per treatment.

  3. 03 Receive requests

    Visitors who choose your clinic send their treatment, preferred dates and a confirmed email. You answer with a time using your own calendar and booking tools.

  4. 04 Grow with your plan

    Add locations, team roles and per-location reports on the Group plan, or SSO, an audit log and invoicing on Enterprise. Read about med spa marketing and pricing for clinics and med spas.

Where the listings come from

The directory is built from open data: OpenStreetMap under the Open Database License, and the public NPI Registry for medical practices. Unclaimed profiles are labeled "Unclaimed profile, details from open data". Every profile has a request for corrections or removal, and removed profiles stay removed. Common questions

Does it cost anything to request an appointment?

No. Visitors always use BeautyTreatments for free.

Is the appointment confirmed right away?

No. Your request goes to the clinic, and the clinic confirms a time with you by email.

Do clinics need new software?

No. Clinics keep their own calendar and receive requests by email.
