Who may perform a treatment depends on your state
Many cosmetic treatments, such as neuromodulators, dermal fillers, laser and device treatments, deeper chemical peels and device microneedling, are medical procedures. Performed by licensed medical professionals. Who may perform it depends on your state's rules. Rules on supervision, delegation and training differ from state to state. Before a treatment, ask who will perform it, what their license is and who supervises them. Your state's licensing board can confirm a license.
